Recognizing the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary

Recognizing the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary

In honor of Catholic Sisters Week and Women's History Month, we recognize Sister Kathryn Clauss, IHM, President of the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary (IHM) in Scranton, Pennsylvania. Sister Kathryn's leadership continues the Congregation's rich legacy of education and service. We also celebrate Sister Ellen Maroney, IHM, who serves as the Pontifical Delegate from the IHMs to the Sisters of Saint Casimir. Her tenure has been marked by a steadfast commitment to the mission and values of being a vowed religious in the American Church.

The IHM Sisters have long been dedicated to fostering academic excellence, leadership, and service—an impact deeply felt by our firm’s partner, Mollie Werwas, a graduate of Immaculate Heart of Mary in Westchester, Illinois. Mollie credits the Sisters with instilling in her the discipline, confidence, and values that shaped her professional success. The school’s guiding philosophy—"Every student has the need to become what she has the ability to become"—served as a source of inspiration, reinforcing the importance of perseverance and purpose. We are grateful for the IHM Sisters’ profound influence, which continues to inspire and empower generations of women. We appreciate you!
