This Catholic Sisters Week and Women’s History Month, we recognize the Sisters of Saint Francis in Clinton, Iowa, for their unwavering commitment to social justice, education, and service. Their work includes a vital housing initiative with YWCA Clinton, providing critical support to individuals experiencing chronic homelessness. At the forefront of these efforts is Sister Jan Cebula, OSF, President of the Clinton Franciscans, whose background as a staff attorney with Legal Aid of Western Missouri and role as U.S. Liaison for Global Sisters Report reflect her dedication to advocacy and systemic change. We are grateful for Sister Jan’s leadership and the profound impact of the Clinton Franciscans in building a more just and compassionate world. We appreciate you, Counselor!
