This Catholic Sisters Week and Women’s History Month, we recognize the profound dedication of Sister Helen Jilek, OSB, a member of the Benedictine Sisters of the Sacred Heart since 1960. Inspired by the Benedictine Sisters who taught her at Holy Trinity School in Haugen, Wisconsin, she answered the call to religious life and has since served in many roles, including community treasurer and overseer of buildings and grounds. Her commitment to stewardship and hospitality ensures the monastery remains a welcoming place for all. We are grateful for Sister Helen’s leadership and the many ways she has strengthened her community. Many blessings, Sister Helen.
