As we celebrate Catholic Sisters Week and Women’s History Month, we recognize the dedication of Sister Deborah Cerullo, SSND, a member of the School Sisters of Notre Dame. Sister Deborah is a civil law attorney and canonist and has been so for over twenty-five years. She received her civil law degree from Boston University and her canon law licentiate from St. Thomas Aquinas (the Angelicum) in Rome, Italy. Given her education and experience in advising both secular and faith-based organizations, Sister Deborah has been on the law faculties of the University of Notre Dame and Boston College. We are privileged to work alongside Sister Deborah in sharing her commitment in guiding Catholic religious orders and institutes with her skills, experience, knowledge, and wisdom. May the Lord continue to bless you, Sister Deborah Cerullo, today and all the days of your life.
