As a member of the Chicago Bar Association’s Immigration and Nationality Law Committee, James C. Jansen volunteered at the Pilsen Neighbors Community Council’s inaugural DACA & Immigration Summit held on April 1, 2023, at the Arturo Velázquez Institute in Chicago. Mr. Jansen provided legal reviews and completed renewal applications for DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals) recipients.
Pilsen Neighbors Community Council serves as a voice in the Pilsen community, advocating for social justice, education reform, healthcare, immigration reform and civic engagement.
