Michael A. Airdo presented as a panelist on the “Civil and Canonical Perspectives on an Ever-Changing Legal Landscape for Sexual Abuse Claims” on October 6, 2022, at the 2022 Conference of the Resource Center for Religious Institutes in Dallas, Texas. Alongside Sister Sharon Euart, RSM, JCD, and Christopher Fusco, JCL, JD, Michael provided an overview of the current status of abuse claims throughout the country and further discussed the issue of the protection of vulnerable adults, which has become a topic receiving increased focus within the Catholic Church.
