Airdo Werwas, LLC’s Health Care Law Group represents health care systems, medical professionals, and medical facilities including: nursing homes, assisted living residences, long-term care facilities, and rehabilitation facilities in a variety of complex medicolegal matters across the country. We have experience in defending health care providers against residents, residents’ families, other health care providers, vendors, employees, and third-parties unrelated to the health care provider. In addition to defending a vast assortment of negligence cases, Illinois Nursing Home Care Act matters, and wrongful death litigation, we also represent health care providers in administrative hearings and commercial litigation. Our health care clients rely on our expertise in reducing risk and minimizing liability through efficiently structuring their operations. Health care providers face many of the same challenges as non-health care businesses. We draw on our experience minimizing and shifting risk when drafting and reviewing all types of contracts, such as employment agreements, independent contractor agreements, medical director contracts, vendor contracts, and employee handbooks. We also use our litigation expertise to advise our health care clients in drafting and revising internal policies and procedures for our clients’ needs.
