Yuri Klinkenbergh has a diverse background in complex civil litigation, employment law, and regulatory compliance. He recently relocated to Chicago, where he will focus on complex litigation, corporate representation, and business transactions.
Yuri previously served as a Complex Civil Litigation Law Clerk, where he worked on employment and qui tam cases, concentrating on workers’ compensation, the False Claims Act, and civil rights litigation. He also gained valuable experience as a Law Clerk for the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation, where he managed administrative hearings and enforcement actions. His experience further extends to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and the U.S. Attorney’s Office, where he honed his expertise in securities regulation, national security matters, and economic crimes.
Yuri holds a J.D. from American University Washington College of Law and an M.A. in International Politics from Miami University, where his thesis focused on Russian disinformation campaigns and U.S. partisan dynamics. He graduated cum laude with a B.A. in Political Science and minors in Economics and Russian from Miami University.
